 Our mission is to set a new standard on how birds and reptiles are being sold as pets. To educate on the correct husbandry, diet and care. 
We are huge on behaviour and diet requirements and will educate you on all aspects of care to ensure the very best care given to your new or current bird or reptile.

We are very honest with the reality of bird keeping. As parrot owners ourselves, we know how enjoyable having these wonderful birds in our lives can be, but a lot does have to change in the way many other shops are keeping, selling and providing poor education and information for these highly intelligent demanding animals. Bringing a bird into your home is a lifestyle change and not as simple as just buying a novelty pet that can talk.

We have a non profit parrot and reptile rescue sanctuary on site where we work with other animal charities, take in much loved pets for rehoming, or rehabilitate neglected animals and some cases bring them back to health with the support and treatment from a vet. Our aim is for the shop to eventually fully support our rescue with funding.

BIRDS: We are massive advocates for adopting from a rescue and a lot of our own time and resources are put into rehabilitating and caring for rescued and re-homed birds that come into our rescue. But not all re-homed or rescued birds are suited for all homes / people. That’s why our focus is on educating parrot owners of the good, the bad and the ugly.  #shopethically
